(highest point of the hillsides in Gironde) united since 1989 with the village of PUISSEGUIN.
The chateau des Faures offer you a service of bed and breakfast in the house “Aurelines”. Caroline and Roland Mas will have the pleasure of welcoming you to this very comfortable “girondine” style house; dating from 1873, in the centre of a calm wooded garden, from which you can admire the Chateau of Monbadon, built in 1331, which dominates the village and attracts the curious since it was the setting for the TV film “the golden grapes”.
Three comfortable bedrooms are available all year round (with private bathrooms and WC) one of which is equipped to receive people with reduced mobility. A living room with a fireplace and a small kitchen are available for our clients. Private parking.
“Les Faures”: First floor bedroom, two single beds joined together, bathroom with bath, very warm and fruity like the wine “Chateau des Faures.
“Noailles” : First floor bedroom, two single beds, bathroom with shower, very light with an unbeatable view of the “Chateau de Monbadon”, charming attractive colours of our countryside.
“Queyssant” : Ground floor room, equipped for people with reduced mobility, double bed, Italian shower, very spacious and pleasant.

For nature lovers, the countryside is perfect for walks and the 8 paths in the area of Lussac await you : The troubadours’ stroll, the Angel’s walk, The Happy Peasant’s walk….
And to relax as a family you can enjoy a ride in a horse drawn carriage, adventures on the trail of Robin, and in July and August come and encourage the amateur actors who offer you the magnificent show of the Battle of Castillon (battle that ended the 100 years war).
